For those who don’t know the story, it all started 12 years ago with a boy who was constantly late for his restaurant shifts and his manager who was nearly driven mad by it. Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, they became the best of friends — creating boozy milkshakes during shifts and using the tip jar to fund drunken nights out. It did however take a few attempts of Michael asking to convince Louise to make things official… oops!

Fast forward to today, and we’ve truly been through it all together: our first home, 10 countries visited, one very spoiled doggo, and a huge fight for life along the way. Through every high, low, and adventure in between, this journey together has been the best part of our lives, and we can’t wait to keep making the most of the path we’re so lucky to have found each other on.

Two people who have grown up side by side, once a little lost and very wary of love and commitment, used to joke that after 10 years together they might finally be ready to say yes to each other, and somehow, that actually happened! During a day trip to Wistman's Wood on one of our many trips to Devon, Michael got down on one knee — and the joke became real!
